Quick answer

A walk around Jeju City, just 10–20 minutes from the airport. Filmed by me for my YouTube channel, PROMISELAND.

1. Airport limousine bus

Airport limousine buses leave from the bus stops outside Gate 5 on the arrivals level and run to Jungmun Resort and Seogwipo, stopping at the big hotels on the way. They run roughly every 20 minutes from early morning until late evening. Fares are a few thousand won and you can pay by T-money card or credit card. Route numbers and timetables are updated from time to time, so check the board at Gate 5 or ask the tourist information desk in arrivals.

Good for: solo travellers and couples with light luggage. Not great for: late flights, families with car seats, hotels away from the main road.

2. Taxi

The taxi rank is outside the arrivals hall. Taxis in Jeju are metered and reasonably priced for short trips into Jeju City. For Jungmun or Seogwipo the fare adds up, and it can be hard to explain an address in English — have your hotel's name in Korean ready on your phone. Kakao T works in Jeju for booking taxis if you have a Korean phone number.

3. Pre-booked private transfer

A private transfer means a driver meets you at arrivals with your name and drives you straight to your hotel. Prices are fixed when you book, so there are no surprises on the meter, and you can choose a van for big groups or golf bags. It's the least stressful option after a long flight or a late arrival.

Fixed price, driver waiting at arrivals.

FAQ

The cheapest way is the airport limousine bus from Gate 5. A taxi or pre-booked private transfer is faster and door-to-door.

No. Jeju has no train or subway — buses, taxis, transfers and rental cars are the options.

How long is the drive from Jeju Airport to Seogwipo?

Usually about an hour by car, depending on traffic and route. The bus takes longer because it stops along the way.

Can I pay for the airport bus by card?

Yes, T-money and most credit cards are accepted on airport buses. Have some cash as a backup.
